At Ultima,
we understand the pressure on small business owners to provide health
care benefits for their employees. The increase in health care costs
and insurance plans make it next to impossible for business owners
to provide such benefits. However, good employees are essentials
to the success of any business. Business owners must offer more
than their competitors to attract and retain good employees. On
the other hand, the reality is that employees are unable to purchase
health care coverage by themselves and yet do not qualify for public
assistance. The result is a growing number of uninsured Americans
with no access to the health care system.
At Ultima, we like to help with this growing problem. We offer
a program for small business owners similar to our VIP plan that
can be purchased for their employees. The program includes VIP primary
care, physicals, basic blood work, office emergencies, EKGs, spirometry,
immunizations, injections, pap smears, contraception and screening
tests. Business owners may elect to pay for the employee or their
families. The employees can also be asked to contribute to the monthly
premiums that are a fraction of the cost compared to a comprehensive
health care plan. Please note that these programs do not include
prescription drugs, imaging or hospitalization, nor are they a replacement
for any insurance health care coverage. But they provide a means
for basic health care needs and access for those who otherwise would
not have any coverage.
Please contact our office for pricing, as they can vary based on
the number of people enrolled. The average cost is about $150 to
$200 per person per month or $75 per paycheck or $5 per day (less
than the cost of a premium cup of coffee).
